What is the difference between the 6 month fashion consignment contract and the 12 month fashion consignment contract?

- Our 6 month contract applies to contemporary brands, vintage pieces or “as is” items requiring a little extra care. At the close of the 6 month contract your items will expire and become the property of Collette and will be donated. There is no collecting your items at any point during this contract.

- Our 12 month contract applies to high-end luxury brands, such as Hermes, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, etc. After the first 90 days, items under the 12 month contract are eligible to be reclaimed at any point during your contract. At the close of your 12 month contract any unclaimed items will become the property of Collette.

 

What is the difference between the 6 month home consignment contract and the 12 month home consignment contract?

- Our 6 month contract applies to decorative furniture and home decor as well as, “as is” pieces requiring a little TLC. At the close of this contract your items will expire and become the property of Collette and will be donated. There is no collecting your items at any point during this contract. 

- Our 12 month contract applies to luxury furniture brands and home decor, such as Knoll, McGuire, Karl Springer, Christopher Spitzmiller, Donghia, B&B italia, Baccarat, Asprey, etc. After the first 90 days, items are eligible to be reclaimed at any point during your contract. 

  

What do I do at the close of my 12 month contract to reclaim my items if they don’t sell?  

- To reclaim your unsold items, you must email Returns@colletteconsignment.com two weeks prior to the close of your contract.

- If we do not receive an email requesting your items to be returned, your items become the property of Collette and will be donated at the close of your contract. Returns may take up to 30 days.

 

Can I extend my 12 and month contract if my items have not sold? 

-12 month contract can be extended at 50% of the original selling price by emailing inventory@colletteconsignment.com two weeks prior to the close of your contract. 

 

How do I become a consigner at Collette?

For home consignment send us photos of the furniture and home decor pieces you would like to consign at Home@colletteconsignment.com

For fashion consignment send us photos of high-end luxury designer pieces to inventory@colletteconsignment.com or drop off your pieces at 2044 Montauk Highway, Space #3, Bridgehampton, NY.

 

When will I receive payment for my items that have sold?

- Payments for items sold will be posted on a net 45 day schedule. 

 

Will I have the opportunity to approve the price of my items before they are put up for sale?

- At the time of consignment, you can request a pricing consultation to approve prices prior to your items being available for sale.
